First-class manufacturing of chairs and armchairs in the heart of Europe
ALBA manufactures its chairs and armchairs in three of its own factories, giving full control over the quality of each stage of production. All chairs are built from tried and tested components, mainly from European suppliers. Upholstery work is a key part of production - ALBA cuts the filling, sews the covers, assembles and upholsters the chairs by hand directly in its factories.
All chairs are tested in independent test centres. In addition to these official tests, ALBA also carries out rigorous internal quality control, ensuring that only flawless and fully functional chairs reach the end customer. That's why they offer up to five years warranty on most of their products.
ALBA also has its own logistics system and fleet of vehicles, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and that products arrive in perfect condition.

Environmental responsibility & sustainable energy use
ALBA is strongly committed to minimizing the environmental impact of its operations. In 2015, it implemented an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001, with the aim of reducing negative environmental impacts and improving the efficiency and sustainability of its processes.
In 2022, ALBA was awarded the "Environmentally Friendly Product" eco-label as well as the EU Ecolabel for custom-made seating furniture – proof of their long-term commitment to environmentally friendly and responsible production.
As part of its environmental work, ALBA installed over 600 solar panels in 2010 to cover the energy needs of its factories and offices in a more sustainable way. When surplus energy is produced, it is sold on to one of the Czech distribution networks. ALBA is also part of the Czech Republic's national "Green Savings" program, which encourages companies and households to produce their own renewable energy.
